The 1975 are welcoming a new era.
In an announcement made on 2 June, the British band confirmed that they are returning with a new album, marking the beginning of a new phase for the 'Somebody Else' hitmakers. This news comes as posters of the band's frontman Matt Healy plastered with the date '7 July' appear around London.

The upcoming album will come as The 1975's 5th album and their first release in two years, following 2020's Notes On A Conditional Form. Since then, the band has collaborated with No Rome and Charli XCX for their single 'Spinning'.
BANDWAGON TV
The 1975 are slated to perform at Japan's biggest rock festival, Summer Sonic that's happening in both Tokyo and Osaka this August.
