One of Singapore's much beloved rehearsal/backline/recording spaces will be packing up and moving to a location near you.
In the month of August, The Analog Factory will be expanding beyond its current location in Woodlands, making themselves at home at *SCAPE's headquarters in Orchard. The move is in tandem with *SCAPE's efforts to create a "Music Village" comprising of jamming and recording studios, amongst which Snakeweed Studios is counted as another of its newest tenants.
To ring in the beginning of a new era, The Analog Factory wil be playing host to ATMOS' organized gig Tropos 3.0. The line-up of which features LUST (MY), Narcloudia (PH), and our home grown Spacedays and Subsonic Eye on the 30th of July.
Here's what we think about Lust's colourful debut EP, chingichanga.

*SCAPE, detailing in a recent article, is hoping to create a "communal music-purposed space" that is an "affordable, accessible and inclusive place for musicians to practice their craft in central Orchard Road." This also marks the shift for Snakeweed Studios, the headquarters for prolific studio producer and engineer Leonard Soosay, which might also spark the return of their beloved Snakeweed Sessions video series.
So long as this means more music for us, we have no issues with this.
EDIT: We originally reported that The Analog Factory will be relocating to *SCAPE. This was an error, and it has since been clarified by their studio manager, Keith Chia, who maintains that the studio's original location in Woodlands will not be closed down in lieu of their inclusion within *SCAPE.
