With a bowl of Lu Rou Fan (Taiwanese braised pork rice) in one hand while sipping on Bubble Tea in another, you wander down rows of booths to find a carnival game to play. The strumming of a guitar streams in from a corner, and you sing along to '放不下的活着‘ by The Freshman. This all sounds so foreign and yesteryear, but your Shilin Night Market dreams will still be fulfilled this year.
Mark your calendars for two fun-filled weekends ahead, as Digital Shilin Singapore is bound to fill up the wanderlust-deprived gap in your heart, or at the least, satisfy your cravings for Taiwanese Fried Chicken on real-time delivery. From 12-14 June and 19-21 June, Digital Shilin will bring a virtual night market to your homes, with close to 100 local and regional digital pop-up stores. With free admission and four dedicated zones, Eat, Shop, Play, and Fun, there is something for everyone.
When you're not participating in live-auction style shopping or playing virtual carnival game "Stack-A-Mo", tune in to the festival main stage hosted by Lee Teng and livestream music performances by local mandarin singers The Freshman, Nat Wu, Yokez, Marcus Lee, and CIRCO. Taiwanese singer Caryson Huang will also be guest performing on the first weekend of Digital Shilin, at 7pm.
The performances will run over both weekends as scheduled:
