We recently published a list of 5 regional festivals you should have an eye on if you're looking to take a budget holiday. Now here's a new one we can add to that list: Hodgepodge Superfest, a two-day festival in Jakarta that's making its debut in September with an impressive lineup.

Iconic Brit rock band The Libertines, pop-punk stalwarts All Time Low and rapper Lil Yachty lead the way, followed by R&B artist August Alsina, Norwegian electronic duo Lemaitre and punk rock band Cloud Nothings.

Day Wave, Tayla Parx, Park Hotel, Kid Francescoli and Didirri are also on the lineup, and there are still more artists to come. 

The festival is organised by Java Festival Production – who are also behind Java Jazz Festival, Java Rockin'land, Java Soulnation and Soundsfair –and SuperMusic ID. Tickets are going fast – a wave of advance tickets sold out yesterday – so you should get your tickets early.

Hodgepodge Superfest 2018 takes place 1-2 September at Allianz Ecopark in Ancol, Jakarta, Indonesia. One-day passes priced at RP 499,000 (S$47.50) and two-day passes priced at RP 845,000 (S$80) are available now here.
