Today x Future is closing down.
On Thursday (06/18), the Cubao dance club announced that it will be shutting its doors after nearly 12 years of good times and great shows. Their announcement comes with a "love letter" dedicated to their regulars, promoters, performers, and staff.
In their statement, they add that their "baby sibling" in Poblacion, Futur:st, will remain open.
Unfortunately, Today x Future won't be able to throw a closing party but will be having one last hurrah this June 27 (Saturday) alongside their online Pride celebration.

After long days and nights of deliberation, wrestling options and ways too much alcohol to cushion the emotion, we are left with the decision to say farewell. We would have turned 12 years old but alas, the uncertainty has made it incredibly difficult. However, this isn't a statement about sorrow and regrets and wishing things would have been different. This is a love letter--a love letter to all of you who have kept our Future shining bright for over a decade.
Thank you for keeping us afloat the last three months. Your donations, warm thoughts, and occasional tagging and messaging have powered us through such trying times. We don't know what the future holds but we hold on to all the unforgettable memories. We'll always remember them fondly, from the loud, endless singalongs and sardinas sawayan to the quiet moments when we realise how much we all mean to each other.
Thank you for letting us be your space, your home where you grew up, fell in love, fell out of love, discovered so much, learned a lot, met so many people we're sure you hold close until now. Thank you for letting Today x Future be part of your lives.
Thank you to all our promoters, our performers, our tireless staff and all our regulars, old and new. You have made our tiny abode the warmest, most nurturing nursery it can be.
As we close another chapter, we keep one open. Futur:st, our baby sibling in Poblacion will remain open as long as we can keep it that way. In the coming weeks, we will be announcing plans to welcome you back there in another shape and form, and we hope you can continue to support us and make it your second home.
We may not be able to throw a Today x Future the closing party it truly deserved but we are throwing one last hurrah on June 27, with our online Pride celebration. More details to be announced in the coming days!
What is coming is better than what is gone. Who know? Perhaps we'll see you again in the near future. We love you. We thank you. We will miss you.
