Two decades of absolute electricity culminate in one explosive tour. Beginning in 2024, Death From Above 1979 (DFA 1979) is celebrating the 20th anniversary of their debut LP You're A Woman, I'm A Machine, a genre-bending cult classic that still sounds as fresh and ferocious as it did in 2004.

Dubbed "dance-punk" by the UK press, the Canadian duo—bassist Jesse F. Keeler and drummer-vocalist Sebastien Grainger—doesn't just play music; they command movement. Their gritty, high-voltage sound is an invitation to lose yourself in the chaos of the pit, where distortion, sweat, and energy collide.
To mark the milestone, DFA 1979 is hitting the road for a global tour while also embarking on a year-long recording project to reinvigorate and honour their groundbreaking debut. And on 20 April 2025, Singapore fans will get their turn to witness the madness live at Esplanade Annexe Studio.
From You're A Woman, I'm A Machine to their more recent releases from Is 4 Lovers, DFA 1979 has consistently pushed the boundaries of rock, fusing raw punk with infectious electronic undertones. Their influence extends beyond music—deeply rooted in vinyl culture, their records are prized possessions for collectors who value both sound quality and striking artwork. Tickets are on sale now here.
