After a magnetic first encounter, the boys of TWS are back with a new music video for their Sparkling Blue track ‘BFF’.
Released on Sunday (18/2) midnight (KST), ‘BFF’ is their second official music video after their debut single ‘plot twist’ (첫 만남은 계획대로 되지 않아) and a prologue short film that includes their pre-debut single ‘Oh My My : 7s’. The track credits Nmore, Bir$day, Park Kitae 박기태 and MAX as composers.
The brand new visual for the jaunty track, directed by KUDO’s GUZZA (whose credits include BTS, fromis_9, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, and TWICE), sees Shinyu, Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon and Kyungmin unleashing their effortless youthful charm and dancing all around an empty school. “A ‘V’ just for us, a ‘W’in we’ll celebrate together / You and I’ll be friends forever,” the six boys sing and dance. (우리만의 V, 함께 할 ‘W’in).
“Since this is our debut album, we aimed to introduce ourselves in a manner that is just true to ourselves, a way that reflects who we are today as authentically as possible,” member Youngjae told Bandwagon about Sparkling Blue. “So, we focused on relaying our feelings in introducing ourselves for the first time through the refreshing melodies on Sparkling Blue, in the hopes that our vibrant energy and excitement will also be carried over to those listening.”

TWS, meaning Twenty-Four-Seven With Us, are the newest boy group in 9 years since SEVENTEEN at PLEDIS Entertainment. Just a little less than a month after their debut (22/1), the 6-member rookie group have already skyrocketed to the top of Korean music charts and even bagged their first music show win at MBC M’s Show Champion with ‘plot twist’.
