Typecast to release 'The Infatuation Is Always There' on vinyl

Typecast's The Infatuation Is Always There is coming to vinyl next year.

On 16 November (Thursday), the Filipino post-hardcore act took to social media to confirm the upcoming pressing of their sophomore record, The Infatuation Is Always There, on vinyl. While the group didn't specify a release date, they mention its unveiling will be in 2024 via Eikon Records Philippines.

The Infatuation Is Always There was initially released in 2004 and was recorded with Raymund Marasigan and Diego Castillo as the album's producers. It features the title track, 'Another Minute Until Ten', and 'Scars of a Failing Heart'.

In a previous interview with Bandwagon, the group revealed they'd written the entire album in two months. Vocalist Steve Badiola said, "After Last Time was released independently, I was still writing. I had jotted down ideas and lines in my notebook that I brought one summer to my grandparents' home in Nueva Ecija. The place was chill and laid back. A couple of months with no distractions got my creative juices flowing."
