The long wait is over-- Unique has finally unveiled his debut solo effort Grandma.
Grandma is a 12-track record, showcasing Unique's strength as a songwriter with songs that take inspiration from various music influences. Opening track 'M' segues to a song called 'Cha-Ching!' which both call back to the kind of progressive and psychedelic rock that dominated the UK charts from the 1960s to 1970s. Meanwhile, tracks like 'Jules' and 'I'll Break Your Little Heart' hark back to The Beatles.
Unique's old fans will also be pleased to hear 'Apoy Sa Kandila'-- a song that was previously hidden away in the artist's old soundcloud account.
It follows the release of the O/C Records artist's somber single 'Midnight Sky.'
