Universal Music Group and BandLab Technologies are teaming up on a new project involving AI in an ethical way.

In an effort to empower the next generation of artists, UMG and BandLab's collaboration is designed to advance the ethical use of AI and the protection of artist and songwriter rights. The two companies also aim to offer solutions to deliver new AI tech that will champion the creators and their creative works effectively and ethically.

Having pledged its support for the Human Artistry Campaign (HAC), BandLab's collaboration with UMG will help artists establish new creative, marketing, and commercial opportunities on BandLab's platform all while protecting them through responsible approaches to utilize AI in the creative process.
