V LIVE will be terminating its services this December.
In an announcement made on 31 October, the Korean livestreaming service reaffirmed that it will no longer be operational by the end of the year, halting its services on 31 December 2022.
The news follows Naver's merger with HYBE (formerly known as Big Hit Entertainment) last January, where the two companies collaborated to create a greater fan community platform, integrating V LIVE with the latter's Weverse.
"We would like to express our gratitude to all members who showed their love for V LIVE service throughout all these years and we will do our best to minimize any inconvenience caused by the termination of our service," stated V LIVE in their official announcement.

In line with the merger, V LIVE will be transferring contents and memberships to Weverse for artists who are currently signed on to the platform. Fans will be able to access previous content and their V LIVE+ coins and memberships on Weverse.
Weverse is currently home to an array of artists including BLACKPINK, TREASURE, ENHYPEN, BTS, SEVENTEEN, LE SSERAFIM, and more.
