Valley of Chrome have unveiled their latest album.

On 28 July (Thursday), the Filipino metalcore quintet released their dual-language record Confront Thy Curse, via Tower of Doom.

The 15-track album is packed with six brand-new songs, each with English and Tagalog renditions. It also includes the previously released singles 'Mahirap Mahalin', 'Huling Liwanag', and 'From the Shadows', and re-recorded takes of Valley of Chrome classics.

"There were no shows to play and we couldn't even get together to write," vocalist Rogel Africa shares the story behind the pandemic album. "It was created by sheer determination. The band wrote it remotely and assembled the songs collectively at Tower Of Doom. Once again, we conquered ourselves. We refuse to accept the fact that we can't achieve anything, even at the most bleak and helpless of times."

"We realized just how different the songs became when switching from English to Tagalog," producer Eric Perlas explains. "The vibes were completely unique and they transformed the message of the music. We thought they were all great renditions so we decided to keep both versions so that fans could appreciate them all."
