This year's Vans Musicians Wanted finals was chalking up to be the best edition in franchise history, and over the weekend, the stars aligned for the nine Asia Pacific acts that took the stage at the House of Vans in Chicago

This year's finalist put the region's music on the map, with the strong performances from Japan's 999999999, Australia's Shahrae, Singapore's BAD DOD, Korea's Cadejo, Taiwan's Ironpunch, Malaysia's Mafidz, China's Secret Club, Hong Kong's Whizz and Philippines' Dante & Amigo

In fact, this year's finale showcase was so strong, two winners were crowned: 999999999 and Shahrae. While the rest of the competing acts put on an incredible show, 999999999's intensity could not be matched and Shaerae's masterful performance could not be denied.

999999999 earned a set of performance in the evening’s Takeover event live broadcasted by Boiler Room and Shahrae won a music video produced by MTV Asia. Other acts who performed at the Takeover include Bohan Phoenix, Mick Jenkins, Yeti Out and Kevin Gates
