Before there was K/DA, there was PENTAKILL and after almost four years, they are back!
In an announcement made by Riot Games, the League of Legends virtual metal band is set to make their grand return to the stage at this weekend's 2021 Mid-Season Showcase Opening Ceremonies.
In collaboration with guitar brand Jackson, PENTAKILL is said to preview their new upcoming single, as well as perform tracks of their chart-topping 2017 album, II: Grasp of the Undying.

BANDWAGON TV
PENTAKILL was first formed in 2014 and comprises some of the most significant figures in the League of Legends universe, including Karthus, Kayle, Mordekaiser, Olaf, Sona, and Yorick.
The band will perform at the opening ceremony, featuring Norwegian rock act Jørn Lande acting as PENTAKILL's lead vocalist.
The 2021 Mid-Season Showcase comes as the latest event in the League of Legends Championship Series (LCS), which sees a tournament from the final three teams – Cloud 9, TSM, and Team Liquid. The event is slated to happen on 11 April at 1 PM PT (3 AM JKT / 4 AM SGT & PHT / 5 AM JPT & KST) via LCS' Twitch and YouTube channels.
