Weverse shares 2023 trends: 16M real-time views on BTS Jungkook’s live; SEVENTEEN’s Caratbong is best seller

2023 saw Weverse with its biggest year yet.

In its annual year-end review, the fan community platform shares significant user growth, new artist community additions, connecting artists and fans with livestreams and concerts, and making artist merchandise accessible to fans across the globe.

This year, Weverse Artist Communities grew from 71 to 117, with 11 non-Korean acts joining the platform. Over 105 million posts were made by fans and artists alike, connecting communities across the world. BTS, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, and ENHYPEN are the most-followed acts on Weverse, with BTS leading the pack at over 24 million followers.

A total of 69 concerts were live streamed via Weverse in 2023, with an average of 6.3 concerts a month. Aside from concerts, artists also took to Weverse Live to connect with their fans. 4,310 live streams from artists were hosted on Weverse, with BTS Jungkook's February 2nd Live garnering 16 million real-time views and setting the record for the Weverse Live with highest view count in 2023.

Weverse Shop, to go-to online store for K-pop merch, sold over 18.3 million worth of merch in 2023. The third iteration of SEVENTEEN's official light stick, the Caratbong, is the year's best-selling merch on the platform.
