Whee In is back to soothe us with her breathy vocals in a brand-new album.

On Sunday (16/1), the singer released her second mini-album, WHEE, with six new songs along with a dreamy music video to accompany her title track, 'Make Me Happy'.

The drop follows the release of her first mini-album as a solo artist under The L1ve Label, REDD, and is an expansion of Whee In's musical color, showcasing the variety, whimsicality, and vibrance of her sound. Whee In also released a Christmas special with AIiee, 'Solo Christmas', last year.

The MAMAMOO vocalist contributed to the track 'Letter Filled with Light' — a continuation from her REDD cut 'Springtime'. While 'Springtime' references Whee In's birth season, Spring, 'Letter Filled with Light' alludes to the meaning of her name, which means shining light. Sincere and affectionate, the track is written as a letter encompassing the words Whee In wishes to communicate to her fans.

She also collaborated with several artists and musicians for this comeback, including RAVI, the head of GROOVl1N and The L1VE Label, who worked on the composition and lyrics of tracks such as title song 'Make Me Happy', 'Deserve (Interlude)', and 'Pastel'

Whee In expresses her anticipation for the album, and her hopes that her newest release will bring comfort to fans.

“Thanks to the love and attention of our Moomoos, my colleagues and I were able to wholeheartedly focus on this project. As much as I’ve laid bare my emotions and thoughts in this album, I hope my voice will reach your hearts and many of you will find the songs relatable. Through my upcoming album promotions, I’ll concentrate on showing the various sides of me. I ask for your continued interest and support!”
