SEVENTEEN’s Woozi finally releases an official studio recording of his solo song, ‘What Kind of Future’ (어떤 미래), fulfilling a promise he had made some time ago to a very good friend: Moonbin.
The ASTRO member passed away at the age of 25 in April last year.
In Moonbin’s final Instagram post, Woozi left a poignant tribute in the comments, promising that he would release the song on the late artist’s birthday, 26 January, given how much he had loved and always requested for it.
The song is now available for streaming on Korean and global music streaming platforms.

The songwriter and SEVENTEEN member wrote in the song’s liner notes on Korean platforms: “A smile full of love / I’ll never forget / In any future” (사랑 담긴 미소 / 절대 잊지 않으리 / 그 어떤 미래에서도)
The previously unreleased track was originally performed only on a few occasions, including SEVENTEEN’s 2018 IDEAL CUT concert in Seoul and a 2020 concert from his longtime collaborator, Bumzu.
