February saw an abundance of incredible live shows in Singapore; from Nickelback's enthralling debut to BLACKPINK's revolutionary performance. Not to be outdone, the month of March is cranking things up to 11 with a stellar line-up of shows featuring the likes of Maroon 5, Kodaline, Honne, Mac Ayres, Clairo, Alina Baraz and more.

HAYDEN JAMES

When: 1 March
Where: Kilo Lounge

BANDWAGON TV

The master of sensual R&B house beats will be in town to spin his tracks for one-night-only. Australian DJ Hayden James catapulted into the upper echelons of dance music since his release of 2015 track 'Something About You' and has remained one of the most esteemed turntablist with a slew of hits such as 'Just A Lover', 'NUMB' and 'Just Friends'. This will be a night of magic.

CHARLOTTE DE WITTE

When: 1 March
Where: Zouk, Singapore

Belgian techno wunderkind Charlotte de Witte is set to make her highly anticipated return to Singapore for the first time in 2 years. Since her last performance in the Litte Red Dot, the 26-year-old has performed on the mainstage of Tomorrowland, as well as headline several techno festivals around the world. Expect nothing less than magic from her this March in Singapore.

BLUE

When: 2 March

Beloved British boyband Blue is returning to Singapore for a one-night-only performance this March. Relive the nostalgia of the late '90s and early 2000s as Blue treats fans to a collection of its greatest hits including 'One Love' and 'All Rise'.

JB DUNCKEL

When: 2 March
Where: Esplanade Annexe Studio

One half of French duo, AirJB Dunckel, will make his debut in Singapore as part of the Mosaic Music Series. The French DJ, known for his proficiency in math and science, uses the intricacies of the subjects as inspirations for his music. Enjoy tracks from his latest album, H+, which was released in March 2018, and from Air, on this night which will promise music filled with flecks of warped instrumentals and dreamy sequences.

MAC AYRES

When: 3 March 
Where: Kilo Lounge

Breakout artist Mac Ayres will be charming us at his first live showing in Singapore, thanks to promoter Collective Minds. He released his debut Drive Slow in 2017 and followed that up a year later with a full-length studio album Something To Feel. You wouldn't want to miss a night of sensual R&B, neo-soul music.

KODALINE

When: 5 March 
Where: Zepp@BIGBOX

Platinum-selling Irish rock band Kodaline is set to return to the Lion City in March of 2019. Having released its third album Politics of Living earlier in September, the quartet will be touring the world in support of the record, with a stop in Singapore announced for 5 March. The band last performed in Singapore in August of 2015.

MAROON 5

When: 7 March 
Where: National Stadium

This will be a night of hyper-polished A-list contemporary pop music. Maroon 5’s arena-beckoning arrival will undoubtedly be one of the biggest shows of the year. You can expect a roll call of hits from every point of the band’s ascent to its present juggernaut status; a thrall that includes the poignant charm of Songs About Jane and the world-moving bounce of ‘Moves Like Jagger’.

WATAIN

When: 7 March
Where: Ebenex Live Space

Swedish black metal legends Watain are finally coming to Singapore. Known for their dark, fast and ferocious music, the band's Singapore debut will undeniably be one that the heavy metal community won't soon forget. While we're certain the band won't be bringing its usual antics to Singapore, the music itself is more than enough reason for any metal fan to attend the show.

GARDEN BEATS

When: 9 March
Where: Fort Green, Fort Canning Park, Singapore

EYEHATEGOD

When: 10 March
Where: Decline

American sludge metal pioneers EYEHATEGOD, otherwise known as EHG, will make their long awaited debut in Singapore this March. The small, intimate gig will also undoubtedly be one of Singapore's most brutal. Expect mosh pits and headbangers everywhere.

HONNE [SOLD OUT]

When: 11 and 12 March 
Where: Capitol Theatre

Honne is returning to Singapore in March of 2019. Following two back-to-back sold out shows in 2016, Honne will be returning to Singapore for a second run of two consecutive shows that is guaranteed to be a sold-out affair as well. The British electro-R&B duo is currently touring the world in support of its latest album Love Me/Love Me Not

SINGAPORE URBAN DESIGN FESTIVAL 2019

When: 15 to 17 March 
Where: Jalan Besar Sports Centre MSCP

The Singapore Urban Design Festival returns this March with an eclectic line-up over three days that will see the likes of Joie Tan, Dreesby, YAØ, Mediocre Haircut Crew, MAS1A and more.

TOURIST

When: 16 March
Where: Kilo Lounge

Moonbeats Asia will be ushering in Grammy-winning producer and composer, Tourist, to Singapore, which will be his only stop in Asia. Known for working with several big names such as Sam Smith and Years & Years, his critically acclaimed tracks will be sure to keep the dance party going all-night-long.

CLAIRO

When: 17 March

Rising bedroom-pop princess Clairo has quickly been rising up the ranks with her quirky and sincere style catching the eyes of many around the world since her single 'Pretty Girl' went viral in 2017. The young talent is seemingly poised for greatness and her upcoming Singapore debut is guaranteed to be one of the best shows of the year to come.

LOVELYZ

Woolim Entertainment's octet Lovelyz will be on tour to support its latest EP Sanctuary and has announced that Singapore will be one of its stops. Don't miss this one-night-only performance from these lovely ladies.

Where: Gateway Theatre

With rock-inspired music as the group’s weapon of choice, the dark themes and heavy tunes make Korean girl group Dreamcatcher stand out in the massively crowded K-pop scene. And fans will get to see the ladies’ power-punching choreography when they stop by our shores as part of the Southeast Asian Tour.

RUEL

Making his debut in Singapore is the youngest ARIA Award winner Ruel. He was awarded Breakthrough Artist of 2018 and earned his place to perform at the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games. With support from Elton John and M-Phazes, each of his three music videos have hit over a million views on YouTube. Grab your chance to see this fast rising star in action.

EMMURE

American deathcore titans Emmure is returning to Singapore this March for a good ole' dosage of moshing and breakdowns. Following the success of its 2017 album, the band will be bringing its newfound brutality to Singapore with an all-new line up. Get psyched.

SMACK MY BEACH UP: BEACHSIDE BOOGIE

When: 24 March
Where: Tanjong Beach Club, Sentosa

Dicky Trisco, Pete Herbert and Adrian Giordano are back at the best strip to spin this Smack My Beach Up Special. Always on the constant search for the best possible party vibe, they will be bringing some of their magic to the sun-kissed dance floor, melting the boundaries between disco, house and Italo.

PET SHOP BOYS

When: 26 March
Where: The Star Theatre

Iconic British synth pop duo, Pet Shop Boys, will be performing at The Star Theatre as part of its The Super Tour in Asia. With global classics such as ‘West End Girls’ and ‘It’s A Sin’, it has solidified itself as a mainstay in dance music. The duo is currently working on a new album which is set to be released in 2019, so look out for new music at its show.

TOM ODELL

When: 29 March
Where: SCAPE The Ground Theater

English singer-songwriter Tom Odell will perform in Singapore this March. The piano virtuoso was first discovered by pop singer, Lily Allen, who was head of now-defunct record label In The Name Of, and released his debut EP Songs From Another Love in October 2012. Subsequently, his debut album Long Way Down earned him a BRIT Award for Critic's Choice in the following year.
