The possibilities simply don’t end for online concerts.

From performing from cosy bedrooms to sets enhanced with extended reality, live stream concerts have opened a new platform for artists to channel their music and creativity. In an Instagram post made on 28 October, Yuna announced a special virtual showcase of her own – happening 3 December, live from an aquarium.

The decision was spurred by a long halt in Yuna’s wishes for a tour, and months of trying to figure out where and how she should hold her online show. Specifically, the concert will be streamed live from Malaysia’s most well-known (and one of Asia’s largest) aquariums, Aquaria KLCC

“Since we can’t go out and tour around the world (which was a huge part of my life) artists have been struggling to find ways to perform live for their fans – me included!” the singer-songwriter wrote.

“I will also be sharing my journey towards making this epic, once in a lifetime show. We got a month plus to prep for this crazy day!!!”
