Mediacorp’s new festive theme song for the season, ‘Better’, which was performed by our homegrown acts will also make its debut performance during the show.

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic and government regulations, the show will be held via livestream but it will incorporate fun and interactive elements to keep the audience engaged.

Viewers are invited to post social media snippets of their creative dance moves to Jason Derulo’s viral TikTok track, ‘Savage Love’, and selected submissions will make it onto Derulo’s segment on the countdown show. The contest period runs from 27 November to 10 December.

When the clock strikes twelve, viewers will be treated to stunning "live" shots of fireworks from the heartlands and the 'Shine a Light' display from The Promontory at Marina Bay will also beam "live".

Let's Celebrate 2021 will be broadcast live via meWATCH, Mediacorp Entertainment on YouTube and Channel 5 on Thursday, 31 December 2020, 10.30pm to 12.15am; and in an encore on Channel 5 on Friday, 1 January 2021, 5pm to 6.45pm.
