Yura Yunita’s third album Tutur Batin has just been released. 

Issued by record label Assemble, the album consists of 11 candid songs that express how she truly feels about the societal standards that women have to abide by in this day and age.

On this record, Yunita makes peace with her insecurities, and fully embraces her own idea of physical perfection—this is perhaps why she chooses to be bare-faced on the album cover. 

In a press release, Yunita explains the significance of this record: “For me, Tutur Batin means the innermost voice.  Many of us who were considered inadequate, considered imperfect, closed off our opportunities but the more our paths are closed, the more we as women will stand taller and be able to make our own way. From the many challenges I've gone through I learned that the pursuit of perfection will never end until we can accept ourselves as we are.” 

Yura Yunita will perform all the songs off her new album on the broadcast of ‘Pertunshow Tutur Batin’ which will air virtually on her YouTube channel on 29 October 2021 so stay tuned for that.
