"It was such a magical thing," Zack Tabudlo shared on working together with Violette Wautier for 'Turn Back Time'.

Marking their official collaboration together, Zack revealed in an online press conference how they have "always been in talks about writing a song together cause we've been friends for a while. This is the first time it really pushed through with the help of our teams in Thailand and the Philippines."

The Filipino singer-songwriter initially sent Violette the 'Turn Back Time' demo, with the 'IMAGINE' act saying that she liked it, but it needed a female perspective. "She wrote the second verse and everything just fit perfectly."

For the official music video, the pair linked up with Thai superstar, Bright Vachirawit. "It was really fun. On the day of the shoot, I talked to Bright and Zack a lot," Violette revealed. "The story is about heartbreak, and everyone has experienced that," she added saying that she just went with her "instinct" in preparing herself for the emotional scenes in the music video.

Joining via a pre-recorded video interview, Bright only had praises for his co-stars, saying how Violette is "very good at acting" and that he enjoyed working with her. As for Zack, "we didn't have a lot of time to talk, but I feel like he's my brother now." The singer-actor hopped aboard the music video after being sent the storyboard and the song, which he admitted to loving "so much," and revealed that he would take the chance to work with Zack and Violette for a new song "if we can find the music direction together".

In a press release, Bright revealed: “When you’re working with someone talented, it helps you a lot. My first scenes in the morning were with Violette who is such a talented artist and actress, and Zack feels like a little brother to me. I felt assured that the day was going to run smoothly. I’m glad to have worked with them both.”

With the music video shot entirely on film, the actors stepped up to make sure they portrayed the emotions needed in the scenes. Bright shared: “We had an acting coach to help us connect. But because we already know each other and we’re both professional actors, it wasn’t difficult to act as a couple, we could just snap into scenes. There was a scene where we’re teasing each other on the bed that I think is really romantic and showed we have great compatibility, and that made the breaking up scenes really painful.”

Violette shared: “It’s about a beautiful relationship between two lovers that over time grew apart and couldn’t make it work any longer. Sometimes it’s no one’s fault that it doesn’t work out. We wanted to make sure you can feel that through the song and the video. It’s sad but that is the truth about some relationships, sometimes things just don’t work out.”

Bright also had a light-hearted anecdote to share about the shoot. "There was one scene where we had to eat instant noodles. [Violette] said something that made me laugh so I spit out noodles on her," Bright said laughing. "It's not really a good thing but it was very funny."

“We did a live video performance that I’m sure our fans will love,” Zack revealed. “I’m also focused on finishing some projects that I’m sure my audience will love.”

“We didn’t get together during the making of the song but I’m so glad we got to shoot the video together. We also have a special performance filmed for everyone so please stay tuned for that. I’m so excited for everyone to see what we did,” Violette teased fans.

Bright also asked his Filipino fans to: “Please check out the song and check out the music video. Everyone worked really hard on it, we put everything into the storytelling to make it visually beautiful. I think it’s going to be a music video I come back to rewatch over and over."
