Biography

It’s an unlikely story… a rising Rugby football star gets so badly injured that he has to leave his sport behind. He picks up an acoustic guitar, teaches himself how to play it and records an indie CD that he sells after shows from the back of his Kombi Van. His debut album, the roots/rock infused ‘Feeler’ (2003), snowballs through old-fashioned word of mouth and sell out shows until a year later he becomes Australia’s most popular singer/songwriter. ‘Feeler’ goes on to sell 6 x platinum in Australia (450,000 copies) and earns 12 ARIA Award nominations.
