"A world full of pain
The universe big in contrast
That's full of beauty"
After almost a year in the making, bittymacbeth is finally releasing her debut solo album, Beauty For Ashes. The 8-track full-length LP features her first two singles, Haters Gon' Hate and Californian Dream, both of which charted at #4 on the Apple Music Top R&B/Soul songs in Singapore.
The album revolves around the theme of life as a journey with its ups and downs; a coin where suffering is a flip side to joy and happiness. There isn’t one without the other. But one arises from the other, bringing hope to adversity and uncertainty in life. And hopefully, a re-birth of beautiful thought and action rising from the ashes.
bittymacbeth will be backed by a six-piece band, comprising:
Teo Jia Rong, drums (TAJ, L.A.B)
NAzty Keys, keys/synth (The Good Life Project)
Lee FengHeng, guitar
Daniel Chia, saxphone
Deric Tay, trombone
Ong Shi Chun, trumpet (Sapporo Safaris)
Opening acts and guests performers will be revealed shortly.
Early bird tickets go on sale on 18 March (Friday) at noon on Peatix.
