A sequel to 28 Days Later is finally under development.

After two decades, a sequel to the Cillian Murphy-starring zombie thriller is set to get a new sequel. According to The Hollywood Reporter, director Danny Boyle and writer Alex Garland of the 2002 movie will be teaming up once again for 28 Years Later and possibly a new trilogy.

28 Days Later was originally released in 2002. It stars Cillian Murphy, Megan Burns, Brendan Gleeson, and Naomie Harris.
