Ben&Ben have landed with a new name for their fandom.

Following last night's Twitter debacle over the name LIGHTs, which is already being used by K-Pop act HIGHLIGHT, the 'Nakikinig Ka Ba Sa Akin' act announced on Friday afternoon (09/04) that their fandom will now be called Liwanag.

From our archipelago, brightness will emanate.

"Yesterday was a difficult day for all of us," Ben&Ben wrote in a statement. "Possibly however, like how all challenges are, it was meant to bring us closer and make us understand what our purpose really is, beginning with a shared struggle to find our name."

Several fans, including Twitter user @Chadmanderrr, also came up with several designs for the band's lightstick.

Ben&Ben recently made a big win at this year's Awit Music Awards, granting them Song of the Year for 'Pagtingin' and the fan-voted Album of the Year for their first full-length record Limasawa Street.
