Barely hours after the surprise birthday drop, 'Super Tuna' has inspired dozens of memes, fan art, video edits, and now, the Super Tuna Dance Challenge on TikTok. As of press time, the #SuperTuna tag has had over 9 million views on TikTok.

An ode to one of Jin's favourite hobbies - fishing - 'Super Tuna' was written by the 'Yours' singer while on a fishing trip with 'Abyss' collaborator and SEVENTEEN producer BUMZU. Jin squeezed in some time during his quick break from their sold-out PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE concerts in LA to head to the beach with a couple of HYBE/BigHit Music Performance Directors and film the Choreography Video.

On 5 December, Jin dropped by Weverse to tell fans that he did not plan the Super Tuna Dance Challenge, and that he was a little shy about it. Fans, however, were quick to assure Jin how much they loved his birthday treat and replied with words of encouragement and appreciation for his fun and quirky offering.
