Layover features five tracks, including the previously released 'Love Me Again' and 'Rainy Days', and a special version of the focus song 'Slow Dancing'. Traversing a range of genres and sounds that V innately gravitates towards, from R&B to "70s romantic soul", each song on the album is said to feature its own music video, creatively directed by Min Hee Jin, ADOR President and Execeutive Producer of powerhouse girl group NewJeans.

This comes as V's official release as a soloist, after previously dropping tracks like 'Scenery', 'Winter Bear', and 'Snow Flower' on SoundCloud and YouTube. He comes as the last BTS member to release solo music, most recently following Jungkook with his chart-topping single 'SEVEN' and Jimin with his revealing debut mini-album, FACE.
