Fresh off their Billboard Hot 100 number 1 debut for 'My Universe,' Coldplay and BTS have shared another surprise for fans.
On 6 October, Coldplay released an acoustic performance they filmed with BTS at the Apollo Theatre. This is Coldplay and BTS' first recorded performance together of the record-breaking hit single.

The clip, featuring Chris Martin, Will Champion, Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman, RM, Jin, Suga, J-hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, was recorded during BTS' short trip to the US when the group addressed the 76th United Nations General Assembly.

In their brief meeting, BTS gifted Coldplay with modern hanboks, while Chris Martin presented Jin with a signed acoustic guitar.
'My Universe' is Coldplay's second Billboard Hot 100 number 1 hit after 'Viva La Vida,' and BTS' sixth Hot 100 number 1 overall. The feat extends BTS' record as the group with the most Hot 100 number 1 hits this decade, and ties them with Ariana Grande and Drake for most Hot 100 number 1 debuts with 5 songs each.
