Olivia Rodrigo is back with a new single.
As another glimpse into her upcoming sophomore album, the GRAMMY-winning singer-songwriter dropped 'bad idea right?' today (11 August). Produced and co-written by Daniel Nigro, the frenetic and playful single tells the story of getting back with an ex against all better judgement backed by guitar riffs, pounding drums, and gang vocals.
"'bad idea right?’ started with us making a joke song about me hooking up with an ex-boyfriend, but then we realized we were actually onto something. We were throwing the weirdest things at the wall — in one of choruses there’s a part that sounds like an instrument in the background, but it’s me gradually screaming louder and louder," says Olivia in a press statement.
