Valentina Ploy's debut album is here.

On 28 April, the Thai-Italian singer-songwriter unveiled her highly anticipated debut record, PLOY. Spanning 12 tracks—including 'Bla Bli Blu' and 'I Miss My Friends' featuring Phum Viphurit, the album dives deep into Valentina's personal experiences through love and life.

"I call it the natural cycle of life and emotions, which I genuinely believe happens with all things. PLOY is a shared story of being human and experiencing your emotions, which is something I want to emphasize on because I feel like there are so many people around me who don't feel the feelings they feel, and instead try to bury them. And this has repercussions. This is something really close to my heart and that's why it's the central idea of my album – to allow ourselves to feel all our emotions without judgement," says Valentina in an official statement.

On naming the album, Valentina taps into the origins of her Thai name, Ploy which means ' precious gemstones', wanting to curate a record that radiates different kinds of energies and provides healing.

"Every Thai person has 2 names – Valentina is my first name and it’s Italian, and Ploy is my Thai name that my mom gave to me. In Thai, Ploy means precious gemstones. I really love gemstones and I wanted to pair each stone to each song, so each song represents a different ploy, which also represents a different side of me and a different healing energy. My wish is for the album to feel like a friend, and when people listen to the songs while going through personal experiences, hopefully, they can relate with each of the ploys, each of the songs," the 'Camera Roll' act explains.

The album contains her previously released singles, 'Bla Bli Blu', 'I Miss My Friends', 'Berlin', 'Shoreditch Road', and 'Camera Roll'. Along with the album, Valentina will also be releasing a music video for 'To Myself', a track that she shares is for "letting go", later today (28 April) at 7 PM SGT.

"Even though you may be in a zone where you're really feeling the heartbreak, clearly not over it, you have to decide to move forward by giving the love back to yourself," says the singer.
