The first wave of performers for the inaugural Singapore edition of WATERBOMB has been unveiled.
Set to be held at Sentosa's Siloso Beach, the water-themed music festival will host the hottest names in K-pop and K-hip-hop on 24 and 25 August. These include GOT7's BamBam, singer, actress, and television presenter Sandara Park, who debuted with K-pop group 2NE1 in 2009, 'The Weekend' hitmaker BIBI, soloist and former IZ*ONE member KWON EUNBI, rapper Kid Milli, three-piece girl group VIVIZ, and seven-member dance crew TEAM BEBE.

Also joining the festival's first wave of performers are Thai pop star SORN, who first debuted as a member of girl group CLC, and Singaporean artists ALYPH, lullaboy, and Haven.
Organised by Viu Scream Dates and Evergreen Group Holdings, WATERBOMB SINGAPORE 2024 will, like its celebrated South Korean counterpart, blend live pop, hip-hop, and EDM music performances and entertainment with water games. Its final lineup will include 10 South Korean artists along with regional DJs and performers.
Sandara Park, who performed at the festival's Suwon edition last year, said at a press conference in Singapore: "WATERBOMB festival is totally different from other festivals because it's really hot and sexy. There's great energy coming from the water that makes people go crazy."
"Just get ready to have fun and go crazy because this year, I have a different setlist from last year — totally different. So [there will be] the songs I haven't performed yet, new music arrangement, new choreo, and of course, less outfit, I think," the 'FESTIVAL' singer teased.

Aside from the festival's on-stage activities, fans can also look forward to immersing themselves in a beach village, where they will find photo opportunities, food and beverage offerings, and summer-themed games to try their hands at.
"Singapore has long awaited the arrival of WATERBOMB, and we're thrilled to bring this fresh and exciting experience to our shores. With an anticipated crowd of over 20,000 and featuring some of the biggest names in K-pop, K-hip-hop and EDM, WATERBOMB SINGAPORE 2024 marks a significant milestone in our Viu Scream Dates initiative and underscores our commitment to bringing the hottest and freshest stars closer to our Viu-ers beyond the screens," Country Head of Viu Singapore, Anson Tan, said at a press conference.
