Biography

Formally known as iPED, we have finally gotten down to a name change as we can't help but snigger everytime we tell people our name. Consisting of four core members, now Paraphrase, is an acoustic live band. We cover all the popular tunes spanning from the late 50s till today, in Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien and of course, English. We are not bound to a certain genre of music, jazz, hip hop, techno, or pop etc, preferring to explore and uncover alternative forms of expression for every tune. Besides performing at some of the most popular pubs in Singapore almost every night, Paraphrase also performs upon requests at special events such as weddings, corporate events and so much more.
