Biography

As a 12 year-old, Ern Quek commonly known as Q was drawn to hip-hop/rap music through Fort Minor's (and Mike Shinoda's) catchy, yet meaningful songs. After listening to The Rising Tide, Q was mesmerized by the wordplay and lyricism that was possible through this genre of music. Having always had a knack for words and bending them, he decided that instead of simply being a fan of the culture and the genre, he should try to contribute his own perspective and stories to the Singaporean scene.
