History is made at the 95th Academy Awards as Asians won in multiple categories earlier today (13/03) at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. 

The multiverse-centred comedy-drama film 'Everything, Everywhere, All At Once' bagged multiple awards, including Best Picture and Best Film Editing. Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, collectively known as Daniels, also won Best Director and Best Writing (Original Screenplay) for the said movie.

The cast of the film was also lauded: Ke Huy Quan won Best Supporting Actor while Jamie Lee Curtis won Best Supporting Actress

Michell Yeoh won the Best Actress award, making her the first Asian actress and the second woman of colour to win the award in Oscars history.

On the other hand, the Best Music (Original Song) award went to RRR's 'Naatu Naatu' by MM Keeravani, Kala Bhairava, and Rahul Sipligunj.

This year's Oscars marked the most number of Asian nominees in its history.
