Sejarah tercipta di Academy Awards ke-95 saat keturunan Asia menang dalam berbagai kategori hari ini (13/03) di Dolby Theatre di Los Angeles.

Film komedi-drama berpusat multiverse 'Everything, Everywhere, All At Once' mengantongi banyak penghargaan, termasuk Best Picture dan Best Film Editing. Daniel Kwan dan Daniel Scheinert, yang secara kolektif dikenal sebagai Daniels, juga memenangkan Best Director dan Best Writing (Original Screenplay) untuk film tersebut.

Pemeran film tersebut juga dipuji: Ke Huy Quan memenangkan Best Supporting Actor sementara Jamie Lee Curtis memenangkan Best Supporting Actress.

Michelle Yeoh memenangkan penghargaan Best Actress, menjadikannya aktris Asia pertama dan wanita kulit berwarna kedua yang memenangkan penghargaan dalam sejarah Oscar.
