The 'Love Affair' act had previously teased the team-up by way of a behind-the-scenes clip of V recording his lines from the song in a studio.

In a message attached to the clip, UMI wished V the best ahead of his enlistment in the South Korean military on 11 December and told him that she would "take care" of the song and "share [his] message" in his absence.

Before his time in the military commenced, V bade a temporary farewell to ARMYs on Weverse, telling them to take care of themselves and look forward to his return.

Earlier this month, it was announced that the 'Love Me Again' singer, who dropped his EP, Layover, this September, will make an appearance in an upcoming music video from South Korean singer-songwriter IU.

Meanwhile, UMI, whose real name is Tierra Umi Wilson, recently revealed that she will be releasing a new EP, titled talking to the wind, on 19 January 2024.
